I offer private instruction in horn performance, music theory, improvisation, as well as group instruction, and coaching for chamber ensembles. I have taught young children as well as adults, beginners as well as advanced players, using a holistic approach to teaching that blends old techniques and sensibilities with the needs of modern musicianship.

My current rates are $320 per month or $95 per lesson. I can teach in my home, at the student’s home if we live within a reasonable distance, or via video chat. Discounts can be made available in the form of need-based scholarships, to be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
